Strangely I also have the non-steam version of Aerofly and it does not produce the same compatiblity box message at all. It will not get rid of the "compatibility box" message which I also do see each time I run it. There is a chance that doing the same will do the same for you. That is why I wonder if the fact I have it working is tied to where I installed it. ( you can do this in the properties page for each folder belonging to a user ). On those same systems I also redirected the user folders too. I installed Steam in all cases to D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ and with the overlay turned off Aerofly works on multiple systems. The new security features may be the real issue. 2.3k Need help with Mac and DX9 Using 3031100 Interface and Satellite Receiver. pregunta, creo que tengo claro el futuro de esta compaia y juego para mi,y mas, estando apunto de salir al mercado de steam. \Users\USERNAME\My Documents\Aerofly RC 7 to store it's settings and modified files. Probably best to contact the developer (ikarus) and ask then if they plan to release this on steam and their estimated timing.Windows does not apply the same security to folders on the non-operating system drive even when you use the same menu structure. My original direct download version of RC8 already contained all the addons and cost me about the same as the current Steam RC8 plus both addons. I'm pretty sure ikarus will offer RC9, probably by itself and maybe as an upgrade depending on which RC8 addons you already have. However, in the future I think RC9 will see the most development improvements. RC8 is still supported and the direct download version actually just got an update yesterday. I wanted to ask are there any plans to port it to iOS too, or at least, the older RC 7 version It would be very good to have it on the iPad, for some loo/bed training time. ![]() This is the right addition to your aerofly RC 8 if you want to enjoy flying stunning looking scale fighters, jets, helicopters, gliders. The base application includes 64 models in various categories, this should pretty much cover most of the models you can get. Still good to support the developers though. This aerofly RC 8 Expansion Pack 2 includes 90 new aircraft models and 20 additional sceneries. Aerofly RC 8 is a radio controlled flight simulator, it's a tool to learn model airplane flying. Overall I very happy with RC9 but to be honest I probably could have lived with RC8 given the limited aircraft (mainly heli's) and scenery I fly with. Also a few new 2D sceneries, but no additional 4D scenery (which I mainly use for VR). I thought the upgrade cost was pretty reasonable (think it was ~$50). About a month ago I bought an Upgrade from RC8 (direct download version, not Steam) to RC9 direct download version direct from the ikarus website shop (google to find it).
